TURBINE HYDRAULIC FANS are custom designed for extremely difficult cooling applications commonly found on buses, off-highway vehicles, pumps, generators and other types of stationary equipment. They exceed many OEM specifications since they range in size up to 60″ diameter and are capable of producing air flows up to 50,000 cfm. Hydraulic fan assemblies are suitable for radiator, charged air and other types of heat exchanger applications.

A basic hydraulic fan system has an engine driven pump connected to a motorized hydraulic fan assembly. The pump may be belt-driven or attached to the accessory drive. Optional on-demand systems typically utilize electro-hydraulic circuits to monitor and control flow. Fan operation can be controlled by a clutch mounted to the pump, an on-off valve or a speed control manifold.
